Release Notes for Mekorma Vendor Validation for Acumatica v3 released November 18, 2024

TIN Matching Automatically Validates US-Based Entities

Foreign (non-US) companies fall under different regulations and requirements than IRS mandates for US companies. Because international businesses use Tax Identification Numbers (TIN) differently, TIN Matching now applies only to vendors with a United States address. There’s no need to exclude foreign vendors or customers from the TIN Match—it is done automatically.

Control Which Countries Get Validated

You can now configure the Address Validator and OFAC Screening to validate only for companies in specific locations. This ensures more targeted validations and is particularly helpful for businesses focusing on regional compliance or operations.

Customer Validations

For those of you in Accounts Receivable, you can now validate customers using the same process as vendor validations. This update gives you greater control over the legitimacy and accuracy of your customer records, and ensuring their information is up-to-date and compliant.
