Microsoft requires all users of Power Apps to also be shared to the SQL connector. To share users to the SQL connector, follow the steps below.

  1. Click Connections on the left side navigation menu.
    Select Connections from the Power Apps menu.
  1. Select the SQL Server connection from the list of connections and then click the ellipsis to the right of the connection.
    Select the specific connection you wish to use, in this case SQL Server.
  1. Select Share.
    Select Share from the Power Apps menu.
  1. Enter each approver’s name.
    Add the necessary users and set their permission to 'Can Use'.
  1. Set the permission for each user to Can use.
  1. Save the updated settings.
