Dynamics GP security uses a combination of roles and tasks to grant users access to specific windows and other Dynamics resources that are needed to complete a specific task.
The following default security tasks and roles have been created to grant access to the Vendor Validation windows.

Assign the Roles to Users
In the User Security Setup window, apply the correct roles to grant users access to Vendor Validation windows.
To assign the roles to users:
- Open the User Security Setup window (Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup > System > User Security).
- Select the user and the company to set security for.
- Select the appropriate Role ID using the table above to grant access to the Vendor Validation windows for this user.
