Multi-Entity Management® (MEM) is a product written for Business Central by Binary Stream Software. MEM allows organizations to manage multiple legal entities (companies) in one single database. MEM integration is available for users of the Payment Hub Shared Services – Multi-Entity solution.
You can build and process payables batches for more than one company and process them at the same time. Instead of needing to log in to each company separately, all batches can be viewed and selected for processing within one window. Batches are further filtered out by the user’s access level. This means users can only view and select batches from companies to which they have access.
MEM uses the terms company, entity, and facility interchangeably. The entity is assigned when payables transactions are entered or batches are created. When MEM is enabled, you can view the entity ID for a company during Action Board processing.
