To post a batch with Action Board, you must first have built a batch via Action Board or created a batch manually, then follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Action Board.
  1. Select Post Batches from the Action menu.
  1. In the Marked column, select which batch(es) you want to work with.

  1. Click the info icon in the right-hand corner to open the Action Board Journal Check.

4a. Review any issues by clicking Issues Total. A list page opens indicating any errors or validation issues with the respective batch.

4b. To view the batch details, click Number of Lines. This opens the Payment Journal in a new browser tab, with the batch pre-populated. The tab will be logged into the company where the batch exists.

4c. Make any corrections or complete any processes to the batch as is required to allow the batch to post.

  1. Return to Action Board > Post Batches.
  1. Click Refresh to clear the status. To move forward, the Refresh Status must be Completed.
  1. Ensure that no more errors exist and the batch status has changed to Ready.
  1. In the Marked column, select the batch(es) that are ready. Note that you can only select batches without errors.
  1. Process your batch(es). This changes the status to Locked.

  1. Click Refresh to update the status to reflect that the process has completed.
  1. To review the details of your batch, go to Job Queue Log Entries.
  1. Repeat steps 2-13 as necessary to post your batches.
