Pay run validations allow you to automatically validate vendors at the time of payment. This helps ensure vendor data remains accurate and compliant. Validating at the time of payment is especially useful for customers who choose not to perform a bulk validation of their vendor list when first implementing Vendor Validation.
To enable pay run validations:

- Go to the Mekorma Vendor Validation Setup page.
- Turn on the Pay Run Validations toggle to activate.
- Set the desired number of days in the Days Since Last Validation field.
Days Since Last Validation dictates how often a validation runs at the time of payment processing. You can set the frequency between 1–180 days; the default is 90 days. This means that any vendor last validated more than 90 days ago will be re-validated during payment processing.
Pay run validations occur in the following scenarios:
- All validations are active system-wide
- A vendor has all validations turned on
- A provider is turned on globally
- A provider is turned on for a specific vendor
- A provider is set to block vendor payments when issues are found
