Action Board Scheduling allows you to automatically run Action Board tasks, such as building payment batches or posting payments, at scheduled times. It allows multiple Actions to run sequentially for a straight through processing approach. This allows the entire process to be automated.

Scheduling with Action Board is a multi-part process:

  1. Create an Action Board Schedule Template
  2. Schedule the Action Board processes

Action Board scheduling uses Business Central’s Job Queue Entries feature, allowing you to customize when and how your Action Board actions run.
